Are you a Foodie? Do you enjoy good food?
Then quickly head down to the World Street Food Congress at the Open Field along Tan Quee Lan Street (Exit D from Downtown line). The event started last April 8 and tomorrow will be the last day, tomorrow's timing will be from 1pm to 11pm. There are more than 20 stalls that feature delicious food from different countries, and another best thing is that they accept NETS payment - imagine the convenience.
This year is the second run and the response has been overwhelming, so I'm guessing achieving their objectives will be a huge success. Last night, I popped by to check out the food and the queue were very long so I only managed to buy the Sisig in Wonton Cup by Bale Dutung (Philippines). I'm happy, it was good! aah.. I miss Pinoy Food so much.
Since I've been hearing about the Truffle Lechon by Pepita's Kitchen which by the way was already sold out when I reached last night, I have to convinced Joff that we go back today to buy it. I'm thankful to have a very understanding fiance.. heehee So happy little mause went back again today and tasted more food, the food didn't fail to please Joff's tastebuds too! His main comment for the day, "Tastes good!" :) Happy to have made him happy too, especially since we have to wait more than an hour for the Lechon to be fully cooked - which by the way is really worth the wait.
So while waiting, we took some shots around:

Bale Dutung's Stall that sells the Sisig in Wonton Cup - 3 pcs for $9

List of the stalls and their delicacies.

Churros Sundae by Churros Locos (USA) at $8 a cup (you can choose between Chocolate or Strawberry Syrup)

The Famous Chicken Inasal Taco with Fried Chicken Skin by East Side King (USA) @ $9 per serving (photo aboves shows 1 serving)

Currywurst Combo Set (with Potato Salad) by Bratworks (Germany) @ $12

There's Chef Pepita on the lower left of the photo

Lastly, the most coveted Truffle Lechon Diva by Pepita's Kitchen (Philippines) @ $13.80
