Hello Kitty Fun Run - Singapore 2014 (Event Day)

Finally the day has come, my first fun run! I'm not really a fan of running, I'd rather do some workout and swimming but how can I not run when it's Hello Kitty?

You can see the fun run details from my previous post and now I'm sharing some photos during the event below. Firstly, I was so surprised when we came out of Vivo City the crowd was overwhelming and since we arrived just in time for the run to start, we were already part of the 3rd wave. (must take note - it is always good to arrive earlier next time, you'll know the reason why) So when our turn came, it rained. It rained strong, we were soaked. Drenched in rain until we reached the finish line.

There were some hiccups because of the weather, it was unexpected but in the end we still managed to receive our HK medals and went around the beach party.

It was so nice to see Hello Kitties and colors everywhere! Good thing the rain stopped and the beach party continued. There were several things you can do around the party area - go to several booths to take photos, have your photos printed at the Instagram Print booth (see the lovely cards above), touch up at the Powder Room Booth, get your nails done at the Nail Bar booth.

The organizers did well, hope to see another kitty run organized next year.
