New workspace means time for decoration. :D

Aside from bringing in stuff to make my space inspiring, I also need some items to make it feel homey. Since I'll be spending most of my time there, I feel like I need something to tone down the office-structured setting.. which is why I was on a look out for a small plant for my desk.

Having plants around have several positive contributions to us, I'm sure you have heard on a number of campaigns promoting eco or green living. Architects and designers nowadays are looking for ways on how to incorporate this into their design for a healthier environment. So in my own little way, I will start from my own space.

Initially I would have wanted to get a Terrarium but I was worried as I'm not familiar with its maintenance procedure so I decided to get something smaller for the time being. There are several small plants that don't need much maintenance, some of which have pots that are in a shape of an egg, crate, or even a human figure. Yet out of all that I have seen, I find the one below most suitable for me.

It is actually a Mint plant from Kitchen Farm (supposedly for kitchen cooking) but the size is just right for someone who is running around the office at times.

I got this from Character + Design at Bugis at S$9.90

I'm also trying to look for an english version of the instruction so I can share on my new post when I start growing this plant.

til the next!
